Machine Learning with Scratch | Course for Ages 11-13 in English

(8 lessons of 3 hours each)

No prior knowledge is required for this course.

Introduce your children to the fascinating world of Machine Learning (ML) with our specially designed course for kids aged 11 to 13, children will embark on a journey to understand the basic principles of machine learning, its applications in various fields, and how machines can recognize objects and interpret human language. This course not only nurtures their curiosity but also encourages creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

 Course Highlights:

– Simplify and demystify complex machine learning concepts.

 By the end of this course, students will:

– Understand the basic principles of machine learning.

– Discover the applications of machine learning in various fields.

– Learn how to evaluate and assess the performance of machine learning models.

– Explore image recognition and train machine learning models to recognize .

– Understand how machines can recognize objects in images.

– Hands-on experience with training and testing a machine learning model.

– Learn how to organize and categorize data using machine learning.

– Discover how machines can understand and process human language.

– Learn how machines classify user intents.

– Applying machine learning to sort animal pictures.

– Applying machine learning to create a virtual smart assistant.

– Programming a natural language interface in Scratch.

 Important:

– This course is designed specifically for ages 11-13 and will be conducted entirely in English.

– Participants should be comfortable speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English.

– A laptop with charger is required.

 Remarks for the last day:

– Please note that on the final day, June 30th, the kids will have two lessons: one in the morning from 10:00 to 13:00 and another in the afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00.

– This extended day will also feature presentations by the children to their parents, starting at 16:00. (Please arrive at 15:45 to ensure the beginning of the presentations on time).

– To accommodate this schedule, the afternoon lesson will start earlier than usual, beginning at 14:00 instead of 14:30. We kindly ask parents to provide lunch for their children on this day. Rest assured, we will have a team member available to accompany the children during this break.
