Exceptionally, our next edition of Word in Progress steps out of Kulturfabrik’s walls for a special edition as part of the Bicherdeeg!
Join us at Kaffistuff to discover three unpublished texts by Tom Hengen, Florence Sunnen, and Claire Barthelemy, with moderation by Benjamin Coles and Cosimo Suglia.
An evening of words, exchange, and conviviality, not to be missed!
Claire Barthelemy :
Claire Barthelemy is the UK correspondent for Radio 100,7 and d’Lëtzebuerger Land. She grew up in Schandel, a small village in Luxembourg. Her studies took her to Brussels and later to London, where she now lives with her partner, their dog and two cats. After about 15 years in the media industry, including stints at The New York Times and Apple, she decided to work as a freelance journalist and focus on her writing. She often returns to Luxembourg to restock her supply of Kachkéis.
Florence Sunnen :
Originally from Luxembourg, Florence Sunnen has studied philosophy and writing in Germany and Great Britain. Her work explores the strangeness of human relationships, and the adaptations we undergo in shifting, unpredictable environments. Recently, her work has appeared in 91st Meridian, the Zagava anthology Fabulous Aesop, and Egaeus Press’s The Rooming House. She is the author of Archetypes, a collection of short character vignettes inspired by mythological creatures. Florence currently lives in Luxembourg City, where she works as a writer and language tutor.
Tom Hengen
