De 10h30 à 11h30

Shihomi is a Japanese artist. She particularly paints guardian deities that represent Japanese spirituality, such as dragons and phoenix birds, and performs live paintings throughout Japan and in the world. In just about ten minutes, Shihomi spontaneously paints dragons. The ascending dragons she creates are often said to bring miracles and good fortune to those who witness them. Through her live painting performances and dances, she expresses Japanese spirituality, such as animism, the power of nature. The Samurai dance embodies the spirit of ichigo ichie- living fully in this very moment. Shihomi aims to uplift and connect souls through her powerful experiences. In her lectures, she talks about the “essence of life” through her own experiences and the Japanese spirituality; how the mind (spirit) shapes who we are and what our lives are.
