Beloved US metalcore band WE CAME AS ROMANS is back at Rockhal on October 15th.
WE CAME AS ROMANS continue to progress and evolve at light speed, maintaining a place at the fore front of heavy music and culture. Never content to follow, they seamlessly alchemize crushing groove-driven catharsis, spacey electronics, and arena-size singalongs into a sound that refuses to sit still, naturally dipping in and out of metal, alternative, hardcore, and rock naturally without breaking a sweat.

Since emerging in 2005, the Michigan quintet have released 6 studio albums. ‘Tracing Back Roots’ [released in 2013] cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and catapulted to #1 on the Independent Albums Chart and Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. Their self-titled album followed ‘We Came As Romans’ [released in 2015] bowed at #11 on the Billboard 200.

In their 20 years of career, WCAR sold out successive headline tours and shared stages with A DAY TO REMEMBER, BRING ME THE HORIZON, I PREVAIL, THE USED, SLEEPING WITH SIRENS, PARKWAY DRIVE, and more.

Following the tragic loss of their original vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018, the band has continued to honor his legacy and released their 6th studio album ‘Darkbloom’ in 2022. Produced by Drew Fulk [KNOCKED LOOSE, LIL WAYNE, DISTURBED] it received acclaim from both critics and fans. ‘Darkbloom’ included 2 of the most successful tracks of the band’s career: “BlackHole” [with Caleb Shomo of BEARTOOTH] achieved 102 million-plus streams and “Daggers” [with Zero 9:36] more than 32 million streams on Spotify.

Kicking off a new chapter, the beloved metalcore is working on a new album and set to perform at major US summer festivals before heading to a global tour in the fall that will stop by the Rockhal.
WE CAME AS ROMANS released first new music in 3 years with the single ‘Bad Luck’ in April 2025.
