Synopsis : In Wikipedia, Pohnpei was described as ‘the worst team in the world’; two English students – with zero coaching experience – thought ‘Right then. Let’s fix that.’” What followed was a footballing odyssey in the Pacific, as two clueless coaches and a ragtag team of islanders chased an impossible dream: their first win. What began as a lark turned into a shared journey of discovery.

Two island cultures – British and Micronesian – had raised their men the same way: don’t cry, don’t talk, don’t feel. Football became the way through, a reminder that before it became a global media circus, the beautiful game was always meant to be a place to belong.
