Twenty-nine-year-old Ilona and her boyfriend have just moved into a new apartment in a block of flats. Soon afterwards, when the building’s renovation begins, she befriends Oleg, one of the Ukrainian construction workers, and her idyllic notions of a fulfilling life as she approaches thirty start to crumble. A confident feature debut about Lithuanian millennials, their anxiety, indecision and their search for a story in a life surrounded by scaffolding.
