Keynote by Patricia Couvet
VENUE: Casino Display, 1, rue de la Loge, Luxembourg
In her talk, Patricia Couvet, director of Le centre d’art contemporain – la synagogue de Delme, introduces her curatorial practice in which research and hospitality are equally important. Taking examples of past projects and the exhibition Paroles, Paroles now on view at CAC – la synagogue de Delme, she will present a work inspired by anecdotes and transnational and cultural history. Drawing on a wide range of references from pop music, literature, social sciences, and exhibition history, she will discuss the idea that “everything is a source” in the curatorial practice.
Patricia Couvet (b. 1994, France) has been the director at CAC – la synagogue de Delme since 2025. She was one of the co-founders of Pickle Bar, a Berlin-based project space dedicated to performative and discursive formats, and she managed Slavs and Tatars’ residency-mentorship program (2021–2025). In 2025, she was awarded the Pernod Ricard Foundation TextWork writing grant. She graduated in history and cultural heritage management (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University) and curatorial studies (KASK & Conservatorium / School of Arts Gent).
